GINF Systems' role in the consortium

GINF Systems was the technology lead for the integration platform — the spine that connected the six partners' modules and presented a single coherent product to end users.

01

Integration platform specification

Inventory of partner software modules, technological assessment of the integration interface, and applied-research output recommending the integration platform specification. Close cooperation with EuroFIR on co-creation outputs and with Abinsula on integration leadership.

02

Integration platform prototype

First-version build of the integration platform, including application-specific integration adapters for the partners' modules (e.g. horticulture and nutrition). Common library for storage, authentication, and authorisation; central control surface; server-side platform deployment and operations.

03

Support and refinement

GINF acted as task lead: gathering partner feedback, communicating platform readiness and quality, providing developer documentation, written and video tutorials, and remote troubleshooting. Operational feedback from field tests folded back into the platform.

04

System test support

Technological support for the 12-month operational testing phase across four countries with 50 end users per country. Server architecture for data acquisition, data-cleaning surfaces, export pipeline, ticketing and bug-tracking operations.

05

Integration platform finalisation

Server-side infrastructure for analysis of operational test data, partner-coordinated drawing of conclusions, finalisation of integration platform and application-specific client adapters, market-ready binaries, and production-ready server-side configuration.

06

Validation and market-uptake support

Continued support for code-quality, module testing and integration testing standards. Public beta deployment, client-side component connection, server-side infrastructure for ongoing operation. Market-relation building, IP commercialisation support, and production of marketing materials including documentation, videos, and specialised software variants.
